How To Choose The Right Hair Color For You

Hair coloring is becoming a trend these days. People color their hair even before their teen age. To set trends or to follow trends hair coloring is an all time craze among people especially women who are so particular about their looks. Coloring the hair completely and even highlights both are equally popular. Some people get their hair colored every 4 months. In fact they even change to loud colors to soft ones depending upon the attitude and personality of a person and how well one can manage loud shades and normal hair coloring. Some just try different colors to show off among friends, some go in for makeover, some try to copy styles of stars, sports persons especially the look of famous and popular celebrities.

Hair Colour Hype

In schools and colleges hair coloring is another big topic of discussion where girls discuss other girls hair color, shades and styles. Even hair stylists are giving in a lot of effort to learn the various ways and new techniques of hair coloring to keep up with the latest trends.

Makeovers and Hair Colors

Today the best way to get a makeover is to get the hair colored. Everyone loves to get their hair colored. The young, the middle aged and even the old. Some have reasons to color their hair and some just love to experiment new colors on their curly locks. The first thing which attracts the eye is the hair of the person. Therefore hair should be properly taken care and one should choose the right colors which goes perfect with their personality and skin tone.

Color For Brunettes

It is all about mixing the proper colors. For brunettes (brunettes means people with brown hair) an overall brown base with highlights of light brown and caramel will do the job. Deep reds and purple are not a very good option for the brunettes. What a brunette should avoid - going in for too dark or too light colors can make look aged. It usually happens when people get streaks or highlights done over and over again. Initially it makes that the hair blonde then a darker blonde then turns brown to solid. Try going in for lighter shades. Keep the fringes near the face light and choose a color one shade lighter than your skin tone.  In between opt for a cream toner. This toner will bring out a better shade of blonde and an amazing shade especially in the sun.

Coloring Red

Red is my favorite color. Red when combined with shades of copper and gold can look amazing. The people who have red colored hair can be very stubborn about their hair color. As we grow old, have kids, the vibrancy of the hair tends to come down making the hair look dull and lifeless. My opinion for this will be to go for conditioning color glaze every six to eight weeks which will make the hair look natural, shining and beautiful as ever. It will look so natural that you can proudly say that I am a red head too.
